now that im using krpano, im more inclined to host my own images to use that viewer. However the files for this are numerous and large in sum. Can anyone recommend any hosts compatable with multiple multi gigapixel images. I know many describe there storage as unlimited, but that is fair use and i worry that some of them might complain when i upload 100's of thousands of files over dozens of gigabytes.
Alt question: (i know i should direct this at the krpano forums, but since im here...) Can i get krpano to read files from the gigapan servers.

Interesting subject (hopefully the spam will be tidied up though!).
From experience with shared hosting services, number of files, disk space, bandwidth - none of these are a problem. I had a small (3 or so gigapixel) pano on a shared hosting provider that was linked to by Bild.de, and within a matter of minutes, I had an email from my provider telling me my site was going to be shut down. What apparently caused the problem was server CPU utilisation.
Something I have no idea as to how to estimate.
Let's just say, hypothetically speaking of course, one was looking to host a multi-gigapixel pano (something say in the range of 50-100 GP) and anticipating maybe a million or so hits in the first month, what kind of service/plan should one be looking at?

I suggest you to choose host monster hosting which is best and supportive for most of latest applications/ languages. I am also using unlimited package plan of this hosting and satisfied from this service.
