Happy New Year to Alexandre and the rest of the Kolor team. Wonderful stuff you've been doing (now all I'm waiting for is the CUDA render.. LoL)
To the issue - metadata sometime and sometimes not transferring to my output panos. It may be finger trouble on my part with some setting I am oblivious to changing. But I have checked and found panos I have rendered twice (to PSD) with one version holding complete metadata (camera EXIF etc) and the other completely blank.
A bit awkward after I render down to JPG and reimport into Lightroom - the files all end up in the wrong places. Most embarrassing!
I'll be more watchful over the next couple of days to see what factors are changing whether the EXIF data transfers or not; just in case it's something like running a bit low on memory (though I have 8GB in place in x64 W7). I seriously doubt the latter but gotta start sniffing somewhere on the trail.
Let me know please if it is just some obvious setting I have just missed after using APG for the last couple of years. (DOH!?)
cheers

ANYBODY with an idea as to whether this is bug or "bugger... (it's) me!" ?

Normally, we export every supported metadata in every format that support it.
We support exif / icc / iptc / gps on format jpg / tiff / psb / psd ( exception for psd/psb where icc is not supported ).
If it's not working, get back to me with an example and we'll figure out the issue.

As always MOST grateful for your responsiveness Alexandre!
Some tiny test files at https://files.me.com/rod.laird/63mr2w.
2x16 bit TIFF's - with full EXIF, output is PSD with basically a null EXIF. Using APG 2.5.0RC.
Can't see any preference screens that would be worth sending you as nothing in them refers to this. So what other information can I provide?
cheers

Damn! it seems the cause is selecting "embed all outputs" in the render options panel. Deselect this and the EXIF data passes through (and you get black in non rendered areas) , select it and you lose the EXIF (and you get transparency with the attached alpha channel).
Wish I'd know this a week ago, before trashing the data on 30 stitches... Sigh.
So is this a bug or a feature? ![]()
cheers

AH! So it was the hidden "bug reproduction" feature at work? LoL
Thanks Alexandre; super product. Do we get to pay you some upgrade money for all this effort once the 2.5 goes into full release? Happy to do so!
cheers
