Your screen is too dark!
Actually my screen is too bright and this explains why I can see them...

Ugh! Yes, you are correct - it's that bl**dy awful UI colour scheme again that's defeated my ageing vision.
Not enough contrast between text and background (again!).

I made a quick fix so that the text color of the grid is the same as the line color. So you can adjust it.
