Platform: Panotour Pro V1.2.0 RC2 on Windows XP/32. HTML Template "generic.html" (I did not try other Template).
If you use the "Crop" tool to crop the top and bottom of an image in the Hotspot editor... (and limit the pitch of what the viewer can see, and you use the Little planet intro... Little planet intro overides the crop on the first pano (but not other panos) in the tour when it is first displayed. If you later return to that first pano then the crop is functional.
If you only have 1 Pano… the crop is totally overidden.
With-out "Little Planet Intro" it works fine.

Little planet can only be applied on a full 360 panorama, not on a cropped one that is why panorama is not cropped at introduction, but you are right there is a bug.

But of course the 'crop' applied within Panotour is a virtual crop, so the image is still a full 360x180.
Yes, I understand that when the little planet intro is displayed one will be able to view the nadir area but after that little planet intro sequence surely it's possible to transition to the same image displayed in a conventional projection with the 'crop' applied, as it is if one later uses tour navigation to return to that initial 'cropped' pano.
If this is not possible then what is the bug you have acknowledged?

The bug is the following:
1. Make a project with 2 panoramas (A and B), full 360 each.
2. crop on top/bottom the A one
3. Enabled the Little planet introduction (A is the first panorama displayed)
4. add hotspots to navigate A->B and B->A
5. Render
At startup, you get the little planet animation to A, then you can navigate in full 360 inside. Click on hotspot to go to B. Click to return to A, A is now cropped correctly (no more full 360). It is not coherent, that is the issue. We must be coherent by cropping A after little planet introduction or disable animation (depending of technical feasibility).

Yes, that's a very clear description of what we see and I agree that it is desirable to be coherent.
Might one way be to re-load pano A (in a conventional projection) after the little planet intro with a transition effect between the two loads, either every time a little planet intro is specified (which would be more consistent/coherent) or only when the intial pano has a crop applied?
Or how about the user having to specifiy which pano he/she wishes to use for the little planet introduction rather than just using the pano specified as the 'initial' pano of the tour?
