Good point; especially if one wishes to place a compass style nadir patch.
I thought maybe this could be done by changing the default view of the pano in the 3D Editor but it can't.
It could also be nice to have the option of a floating nadir patch image where it stayed in the same orientation while the pano image rorated beneath it. Useful if you wish to have a nadir patch with corporate branding.

Yoiu can already apply a nadir patch image to multiple panos in a tour at the same time. using Control-Click (on Windows) to multi-select multiple panos then apply a nadir patch image in the normal way. It will be applied to all the selected panos.

I don't know what you mean. Can you please describe what you want in more detail.
