Use of the Panotour Hotspots Editor crop tool to restrict viewing angles so user cannot view the nadir area seems to cause visual artifacts when the pano is viewed.
Applying viewing limits to restrict viewing in a simlar way using Pano2VR does not result in such visual artifacts when the pano is viewed.

"Applying viewing limits to restrict viewing in a simlar way using Pano2VR does not result in such visual artifacts when the pano is viewed."
Hi, Happy New Year!
Is there any solution, any updates?
I have the project delivered but I would like the final version had no distortion.
Thank you very much

The issue has been fixed with PanoTour 1.5RC1. Viewing limits are now using the crop information so you do not have to distort your panorama anymore. If you still have problems, it certainly due to bad angular projection fields of your panorama.
