It shows how little people care about privacy, and don't mind having a publically available portrait on the internet tagged with their name and surname linking directly to all their other 'personal' data via Facebook. I feel oppressed enough living in London where there's a camera watching you and biometrically identifying you wherever you go, can't imagine why people would want to help 'the system' by willingly aiding in data mining.
