I'm trying to understand what this means and why this change was made:
"Only one HTML template enabling JS use or not, and offering compatibility with mobile viewer"

I see no user configurable option regarding enabling use or not of Javascript.

The template use javascript if the navigator enables to use it and use simple HTML code if javascript is not possible.
