I did try to test the APT 1.1.0 beta 11 on a CentOS 5.5 Linux with newest updates.

it failed to run "Linux 32 bits tar.gz" because of missing glibc 2.7

CentOS 5.5 (newest freeware RH Enterprise Linux Clone) and so I assume RHEHL too runs with
glibc-2.5-49.el5.4

which Linux distributions does support currently glibc 2.7 so I can test APT with?
