Ive seen a few panos which have been displayed with this software or krpano, and liked the way it looked and felt to navigate, especially with the hotspots to move between panoramas. On this, i downloaded the trial version of APG (i have full version of APP) and tried APT and again liked it. However a few questions come to mind:
1st: What is the difference between APT and krpano?
Panoramas take up alot of diskspace on the server, especially multi-gigapixel images. This is why i currently upload all my large images to gigapan and use their embedded player, so 2nd question is:
Can APT/krpano read from files hosted on gigapans servers, if not, how do you host the potentially gigabytes of files required for multi-gigapixel panoaramas, and multiple smaller panoramas?
Thanks

krpano is a Flash Panorama Viewer controlled via command files in XML format.
APT is a GUI front-end/XML command file generator for krpano.
APOT is currently only available as bundle aith Autopano Giga (APG).
But soon APT will be unbundled from APG and sold as a seprate product.

I don't think so.

Find a hosting service that offers unlimited disk space and data tarrif.

How many individual files was that 5Go? my current host has a hard limit on the number of files more than the total size.
Additionally, does this mean i would have to upgrade to APG and then pay for a krpano license aswell to use it fully?

Should not be a problem as tiles are sub-divided in multiple sub-directories ![]()
