resulting pixel size spherical vs cylindric

I did with papywizard an import of 882 images set to 294 BRK images.
per default AP recognizes this as cylndric projection

AP says in resulting panogroup: 252585 * 199234 pixel and fov of 179.19 x 75.31

if I change to spherical projection,
AP says in resulting panogroup: 68506 * 7531 pixel and fov of 179.19 x 75.31

the spherical version is with the 1.9gigapixel size the more realistic one.. 294 images for a 50gigapixel image cant be true... ;-)
ok if I wanna make a tour than I would take the spherical projection
and if I want to print it "on paper" I would ?

the buildings and the tree are quite realistic compared with real life. The main error in both version is the top of the church: the middle of both versions would be realistic for a printed version.
How could I change this in the cylindric version for a final printed version?

Liebe Gruesse,
Georg

Re: resulting pixel size spherical vs cylindric

I would try Mercator projection. This should result in the top of the church being less stretched than in cylindrical image and less compressed than in spherical image. All these projections will give an identical result next to the horizon.
