If this tour is on-line have you uploaded the MP3 file to your server?
Sound files and video files are never embedded.

Just grasping at straws: could it be because you have a directory name with a '+' sign in it?

I don't think so. I tried it with different names.
Also tried it with "embedall data", "Embed xml files"
Also tried to export befor svaing and export after saving.
I opend the swf with firefox and with opera. In every situation it show the posted things.
To me it looks like an unstable software, becaus the mistake apperas only now and then.

Alex

Now I'm confused - first you say 'in every situation..' then you say 'the mistake appears only now and then..'.
Does it occur all the time or not? Is it predictable or not?

Alex,
Regardless of whether you choose 'Embed all data' or not sound and video files are never embedded.
May I suggest that you experiment with using Extended Save As.. - see screenshot 1 - This copies all resources to a common directory so there's no risk of resource files going missing inadvertently.
I also find it helpful always to output to a new folder for each project so I can more easily check that all necessary outputs are present via View/Open last exported project directory - see screenshot 2.

(inofficial editor´s version - please do not link)

Hi,
@mediavets: Thanky for for helping. I will test ist, but have noc extendet export. (See screenshot) Is there a newer version available?
@ klausesser: I wonder why I can't reproduce the exact mistake. Yesterday I tried it for two hours and it never worked.
I had a test four weeks ago and the test (just as you dicribes it) worked well. Yesterday nothing worked. Not even as a compete new project.

Alex

Alex,
For some reason that option is not available from the File menu - I've reported that elsewhere as a bug.
Instead you will find Extended Save As available from the second icon from the left beneath the text menu bar:

Another grasping at straws - can the krpano player handle all sorts of MP3 files? There are many possible bit rates and also VBR - does it handle all?
Are you assigning/specifiying the sound in the Project properties or the Panorama properties?

Sorry, don't understand the question.
All I do is take an mp3 file. I check in apt if its accepts the document, then I link it.
See screenshots - specifying sound files via Project Properties and Panorama properties.
How are you doing it?

That´s a good question . . . . .
I wouldn´t be surprised about some issue here.

Second way: I set a spot and link the audio file.

You cannot specify (it is not permissible to specify) an audio file as a Hotspot properties/Display/Object - which is what your screenshot shows.
You can specifiy and audio file as a Hotspot properties/Link/Object.
If you specify a Sound file in the Panorama properties and the also specifiy a audio file as the Link/Object for a Hotspot's properties in that panorama - then the latter audio file will play on-top-of/as-well-as the Panoroma properties sound file when you click on the hotspot.
...
Are you using the latest APT V1.1 beta 10?

Hi again,
same error again: After putting a tour together with about 20 Panos I had the same error as last time:
The flash encoding din't work right and I got the shown error.
I did it with "extendet save as" and put the audio to the panorama properties.
Next Mistake: After saving the tpur, it do't "remember" the audio at all. The shown link was empty.
What is it?

Alex
