Autopano stitching makes some clipping on non-clipped aeras

Hi

i noticed autopano 1.4 or 2.0 clips some aeras of my pictures that are not clipped even i unchecked auto color, levels, etc. So i have to restore clipped aeras in photoshop (clouds mainly). Here is an example

It comes down to what images you select for determining the white balance / brightness level of the whole pano. If you want to keep the "original", set an yellow anchor on that image.

But if Oliver turned color correction off, it shouldn't do that.
note: the screenshot doesn't show whether color correction was off, it shows that AP was set to not automatically optimize colors after stitching, but that's different to turning color correction off.

If everything is off ( color correction and histogram ), the output panorama should fit in color the input images.
Perhaps a bug with GPU mode. Did you try in CPU mode ?

GPU mode was not activated during. I have tried with GPU on and off, same results. I have even tried different render mode (multiband, smartblend, etc), same results. So, i have to restore clipped aeras in PS, it doesn't matter, autopano rocks for the rest!!

Is it possible to provide some sample images, so we can test ourselves?

Re: Autopano stitching makes some clipping on non-clipped aeras

Following up on the "problem". The reason for the clipping is that Olive dropped RAW files into APP. If one processes the RAW files and uses TIFF/PNGs as input (and uses LDR color correction, and sets proper color anchors) - no clipping occurs.

Moving the topic to the Usage forum.

Re: Autopano stitching makes some clipping on non-clipped aeras

Thank you much [bo]!!
i have tried to process my raw files before stitching and everything is fine!!
Thank you so much, i did not know that. I don't understand why AP supports raw files if it doesn't work fine... Moreover, i have already stitched panos with RAW files that did not clip.
Anyway, now i know
thank you so much!!
