I just get an error box saying "Can't create image from file: D:/path/filename.jpg"
I click OK and nothing loads.
The old version used to, is there a workaround?

If we can't open one picture the loading failed.
The map file is not currently checked for relocating. So open failed if map picture location changes.
This will be corrected in next beta.
Can you confirm me that your picture was the map file ?
