Panorama Editor - selecting pics

Is it possible to select  picture(s) for following actions from the layer list? I did not found it until now, but often want to.

Sometimes it is very difficult to identify a certain pic in the preview, but very easy in the picture list of the layers.
Also it would be fine if a selected pic form the layer list is marked on the preview picture.
