Could I please ask what's is the Papywizard-2.1.11_PySide.zip ?
Also, I can't mange to understand the BT dongle trick, sometime It appears on Mac BT preference as 7 different dvices, sometime doesn't appear at all, I have to take it out and put it in again to appear...
It seems that PW BT is showing to BT Mac preference that it connects, but then when I go to PW/Hardware/Connect it doesn't, instead it says that it cannot connect because Axis 2 is not working, I quit then I do the dongle trick, I relaunch and now it works, same sort of thing happened yesterday as well. Cannot pinpoint at the moment. OS 10.6.2, PW 2.1.5.
I saw, can't remember where, some issue about Merlin firmware, where was it? Is it related to?
thanks

The PySide zip archive is Papywizard source using PySide python Qt bindings... It should not be in the MacOS dir...

Could I please ask the members running PW+BT on MAC what OS version are using? I wish I could pin point the intermittent (mostly not working) problem of 10.6.2 with the connection...![]()

BTW, for MacOS, you could try to use PySide:
http://www.pyside.org/files/pyside-qt4.5+0.2.2.zip
Then, use the version of Papywizard I made for this binding:
http://www.papywizard.org/static/downlo … PySide.zip
PySide is still in heavy developement, but I think there will be ready-to-use packages for all distros, and it will be easier for everyone to install. As the N900 will only run PySide (it already does, in fact, and I asked a french guy to make some tests with his N900), I will switch to that binding one day (with automatic fallback to PyQt if not available).

Thanks Frédéric,

Anyway, I installed http://www.pyside.org/files/pyside-qt4.5+0.2.2.zip
unfortunately I don't understand any thing from what is inside the folder of http://www.papywizard.org/static/downlo … PySide.zip

No conflict; in my previous post, I said that this archive was in the wrong place. It is a source, not a pre-build package for MacOS. But as it is a source, it is possible to use it on every plateform, as long as you have all libs installed. So, if you install PySide (and other small libs, like pyserial or bluetooth), you will be able to use it on your Mac.
Just unzip the archive somewhere, go to the root dir, and run:
$ ./Papywizard.py

Or do yourself a favour - and preserve a few brain cells - and get a used Nokia N800 Internet tablet.
