But i would like to give to the menu sistem this buttom, i think it's very easy, but i don't know the code! beacouse for the png i just edit one that i've, but for the xml i need a code just to "click and open image"...
Did you know if the map can be open in a small size at the open of the virual tour?!

Any way, this magic property you are looking for is called 'keep'. So you add keep="true" in the plugin property and it will be kept during the whole visit.

I think you (Kolor) had better get used to having such questions from APT users for as long as APT remains indequate and fails to provide rather basic functionality such as this via the GUI and your response remains 'you need to hand code'.

So long as Kolor's reponse remains 'you need to hand code' users are - quite reasonably IMO - going to say 'OK show me what code I need'.  After all people are attracted to (and are willing to pay for) APT precisely because it promises that one can produce sophisticated virtual tours without the need for hand coding!

As I see it, the marketing pitch for APT is not 'buy this and reduce the need for hand coding of XML' it is ' buy this and you don't need to hand code XML'. Perhaps that is raising unreasonable expectations amongst users?

The answer? Increase the functionality of APT ASAP; at the moment, sadly, it appears to fail to meet the rather basic expectations of far too many users; and, despite exceptional ease of use, fails to match the capabilities of the leading competitors.

Of course a balance has always to be struck between ease of use and functionality/features. We all know of 'bloatware' which has a lot of features and functions but which is verging on the unuseable (I wouldn't be the first to dare to suggest that Photoshop exemplifies how software can evolve such monstrous characteristics, Microsoft Office likewise).

Users always place a high value on ease of use when they first start to use a new piece of software, but equally they soon become dissatisfied and frustrated if the software proves to lack 'depth' of features and functionality as they become more adept and experienced; yet add too many features in a 'random' manner and soon nobody can figure out how to do anything anymore.

They say that you cannot please all of the people all of the time, but perhaps it is possible to please most of the people most of the time? I feel that APT has some way to go yet before it achieves this goal, but I believe it can and will.

Right now some common feature/function requests seem to be emerging - listed in no particular order - I for one hope to see most of these implemented sooner rather than later:

1. The ability to set viewing limits.

2. The ability to set speeds for rotation and zoom.

3. More controls and greater functionality for the thumbnail feature; this seems to be the most important area deserving of greater development effort.

4. More controls and greater functionality for the map feature; such as support for the Google maps plug-in and support for the radar plug-in.

5. More controls for directional sound(s), including an optional global volume control/on-off button.

6. An Info panel feature, with optional on-off button.

7. A 'Splash' panel feature, with optional on-off button.
