I raised this issue a year or two back and now I'm using APP V2.06 I see this has not been addressed.

There are good reasons not to send RAWs to APP - I agree. But what would be amazingly useful is for APP to be able to pull out the embedded preview that exists in a DNG fine. It's a high quality, fully demosaiced Jpeg and will stitch wonderfully. I use LR or IDimager to send sets of files directly to APP for stitching. Since they are RAWs the colour currently looks grim but by using the embedded preview the colours will look just fine.

Extracting a Jpeg preview from a RAW/DNG file is trivial - please can it be included in the APP workflow.
