I have it, and is very different about merlin.

Benefits: very small and light, you put it in your backpack if you're not sure use;
               loads in autopano as if it were gigapan
               fully programmable
               Work with external sensors
               Once programmed you can go and turn off the control
               prende fino a 100 metri con l'antenna inclusa
               ready to work

disadvantages: can adjust only the horizontal pupil of entry (with binbario not included)
                       little vertical excursion (sufficient only for gigapixel) without manual correction on the joint
                       imprecise on optical over 400mm, works with the times because he have not encoder

Conclusion?
If I have to go to the mountains to walk, have better automate that have nothing, 360 cilindrical are ok with an 16mm full frame.

If I want to work precisely and only going to do that better merlin (I hope, because I'm waiting it and I took it on purpose)

I´ve been shooting with it sometimes. Not really stable and much too expensive for a one-axis motor.
It´s advantages are speed and a small footprint. But 1800.- € . . . . . no way. They charge 53.- € for 1,6m cable head release and about 100.- € for the camera release cable . . .
