It might be possible but you certainly need a nadir and a zenith shot. I processed your handheld panorama with cubic converter to show you the "black holes" that need to be filled.

Yes, you will need a zenith shot (say at +60-65 degrees pitch), in addition to 4-around, for close to 360x180 coverage.
Screenshot below is of the nadir when shooting 4-around at -10 degrees pitch on a Canon cropped sensor body, usinha Noidal Ninja R-D3L rotator. You can see that the 'hole' at the nadir is quite small.

Well, I don't know, if you have noticed, but the second house with columns is across the street and not a part of the first house with columns.
Where can I get "cubic converter"?

Hi,
I was thinking to get digital level to help me to level my pano setups. However, it is magnetic and I am afraid of magnets effect on my camera. Can it spoil something in the camera, if it is placed very close to it?

I shot mine at -60-65 on NN5 in opposite direction and it is bigger than yours. Also, the view of a tripod similar to yours is visible only in SWF when played.

I didn't shoot that pano, I don't have a Samyang FE lens myself, it was shot by 'Smooth' from panoguide.com.
I just wanted to show you that it is indeed possible to get 360x180 coverage shooting 4-around+Z+N with the Samyang FE on a Canon cropped sensor body, and I'm told the overlaps will be a little bigger with a Nikon DX cropped sensor body.
The image I posted was a screenshot when displaying the Flash VR of the pano.
The Canon APS-C cropped sensor is a different size from the Nikon DX cropped sensor. And the R-D3L rotator (excluding the leveller element) has a larger diameter footprint than the rest of the R-Dx range of rotators - 73mm for the R-D3L vs. 62mm for the R-D16/R-D8 vs. 54mm for the R-D4.
If you want a smaller nadir 'hole' just try pitching your camera/lens down a bit more for the main row. I don't know how far you can go before you find the 4-around no longer overlap with a 'zenith' shot and each other; or maybe that doesn't happen..

Several options:
1. Leave it as it is but restrict the FOV in the Flash VR player so people viewing the pano cannot see the part of the pano with the tripod. This is simple with Pano2VR, and can be done with krpano but APT doesn't seem to offer a simple means of setting the viewing limits (yet?).
2. Cover the area of the tripod with another image - a so called nadir 'cap'; this could be a branding logo, or a mirror ball and so on. Pano2VR's patch tool offers a very simple way of adding a mirror ball. APT allows you to set a nadir 'cap' image.
3. Patch the tripod area at the nadir with another nadir shot taken without the tripod in view. This involves using an image editor that supports layers such as Photoshop. The patch tool in Pano2VR makes it much easier. This is a bit of a 'black art'; there are probably just about as many methods/techniques of doing this as there are people doing it.

there's no tripod. The mirror ball mentioned above is a nice option, that is quite easy to accomplish. I think this option is included in Pano2VR. But it can easily be done in Photoshop as well. You can apply text around the mirror ball with copyright information etc.

that one was easy. I just copied the left side of this wonderful carpet. This gave me a new layer after insertion of the copied piece. I mirrored it ant placed it over the tripod on the left side. I reduced the opacity of the layer, containing the copy of the carpet to 70% to place it correctly over the pattern of the background layer. I flattened the image and got only one layer. With the dodging and burning tools and the cloning brush I did final adjustments. That's all. It took less than 5 minutes to finish. I wish I always had jobs like that. Nice and easy going. But most of the time they aren't.

Adam here is a little tutorial ti create a mirrorball and how to put text around it. First of all you have to have an equirectangular panorama having an exact aspic ratio of 2:1. Your example wasn't exactly 2:1, hence the black bar on the bottom half of your Panorama. Now open the panorama in PS. Apply a guideline that covers the tripod you want to cover with the mirrorball, in this case the black field (marked with two white arrows. Open a rectangular selection in the upper part of the picture. The selection should snap onto the guideline. Copy (strg+c) of the selected portion of the panorama. With strg+v you insert the copy on top of the panorama. Next select the transformation tool (strg+T) Grab the middle handle of the selection (yellow arrow) and bull it down to the very bottom of the picture. Next select the layers atirbut palette and apply a drop shadow to the active layer. Make sure you select an angle of -90° and make the necessary selections to have a big enough area to apply your text. Apply your text. Press strg+t again to transform the text. Shrink the text to 30% vertical. leave the horizontal dimension untouched at 100%. Flatten the image and make your QVTR movie with either APT or qubic converter.

on full frame you can take 3 around to get a full 360, on crop, you most likely will need 4 images.
