XnViewMP translator request

Hi everybody,

A really uncommon request. We are collaborating with Pierre, the author of XnView since a long time.
Xnview is a well known product : a really good image viewer tool with a lot of features ( BTW : try and use it, it's free for personal use ... ).

So, Pierre asked me if we could help to find translator for it's new version : XnviewMP, it's a cross-platform version.
As it use the same technology as we use here ( Qt ), translators of Autopano may be interested into helping Pierre too.

All informations are available in this topic : http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p … mp;t=18552

Thanks

Alexandre

Hi Klaus,
I always managed to use XnView perfectly under Win XP SP2/SP3 32bit. Really a good image tool. And APP is using an XnView component, enhanced by Kolor dev's team.

What was your problem ? Did you post in XnView forum ? at

Hi Marco!

What would i need it for? I use Lightroom, Aperture, Photoshop/Bridge . . . .
Are there any advantages using XnView?

best, Klaus

Hi Klaus,
I think you have already many tools to browse folders for pictures and edit them.
I prefer XnView as browser than Bridge, XnView has also capabilities to batch some basic editing. I find Lightroom interesting for working on some folder like holidays souvenirs but too heavy to browse many folders having rendered panoramas and their sources.
The best tools are the one the user know well and practice regularly.

Re: XnViewMP translator request

XnView is my favorite image viewer for windows, and I tried the cross-platform version a while ago too, but as much as I'd like to help, I'm already up to my ears in helping out with other things, so sorry. I still need to reserve time for translating APG and PW!
