I am unable to play the swf files created by Autopano Tour. I can play swf files created in Pano2VR OK. I have a KRpano license.
Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit, Adobe Flash Player 10.
When I open the swf files created by Autopano Tour I do see the navigation menu buttons but the screen is black.
I have the Global Security options set correctly in the Adobe Flash Player.
Any idease why this doesn't work?
Thanks

Your panorama could be too big. I heard three versions of the story, one was that max width is 8000px, other was 5000px, and I think I recall reading that it's not about width but about total megapixels (not sure about this third one). Anyway try playing a smaller render.

Welcome to the forum.
Are you sure you have the security setting setup correctly?
What OS and browser are you using?
Is this a 360x180 pano or a partial pano?
Are you using multi-res tiling?

Thanks for the reply,
I have the security settings correct, as I have previously been using Autopano Pro 1.4 and Pano2VR 2.2.3 to make my Virtual Tours. I play them in Adobe Flash player 10.
I have recently upgraded to Autopano Giga & Autipano Tour, and have purchased the KRPano license.
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit and Internet Explorer 8.
I am making 360 x 180 panos. I do not use partial panos at all.
I do not use multi res tiling but would like to be able to do this in the future.
I have now gotten this to work by downsizing my panos from 300 dpi to 72 dpi. The typical file dimensions I use are about 17600 x 3600 x 300dpi. The virtual tours I make, need to be able to produce a high res full screen virtual tour.
I need to understand the size limitations of Autopano Tour. The documentation states that I should be able to use panos up to 200 000 000. The quality of the downsized files leaves a lot to be desired.

Have you registered your krpano license in APT?
What cube face size are you using?

17600x3600 is not a 360x180, a 360x180 equirectangular input image will always have a 2:1 aspect ratio.
Forget DPI it has nothing to do with anything in this context.

For a 360x180 to display as a fullscreen Flash VR you should not need more than 8000x4000 pixel input image.

Thanks for the reply.
I have registered my license in APT.
I have been using a cube face size of 1024, but I have also tried other values up to 5000.
The pano size for one of my test files is 17663 x 3613. This the the 360 degree pano result I get out of Autopano Giga from a 9 frame 360 degree shoot. Of course this is only a single row panorama and not a stacked panorama so it is not 180 degrees. Should I be changing the vertical field of view in APT? If I need to change the vertical field of view for a single row 360, what value should be used?
I appreciate your help.

When APG creates a rendered pano it add a custom EXIF tag that includes data on the pano FOV.
APT will read this to set the pano FOV within APT.
But.... if you post-process the rendered pano before inputting it to APT it is most likely that your image processing software will strip out the custom EXIF tag - in which case APT assumes a default pano FOV of 360x180.
You could read the custom EXIF with an EXIF reader before post-processing and note the pano FOV values and latter enter them in APT. Or open the renederd pano in APT before post-processing to see what the pano FOV values are and use them later after post-processing you pano.
