No Filter Menu icon

With Autopano Pro V2.0.0 Trial Version, I made a 19-image pano and applied HDR color correction. I can't do tone mapping because the Filter Menu icon doesn't appear on the toolbar, even though there's plenty of room.

Why doesn't the icon show up? Under View/Toolbars, all the items are checked.

Re: No Filter Menu icon

Hi,
Yes, tonemapper have been removed for 2 reasons :
- there were highly incompatible with GPU mode ( it would have need between 1 to 2 weeks work to make them compatible )
- we are working on the new HDR engine so this previous work would have been useless and lost time in fact

Alexandre

Do you plan to include the new HDR engine in a future release of Autopano Pro V2

Re: No Filter Menu icon

It will be added in APG-2.1 or 2.2, so it was said. Free upgrade for all 2.0.0 owners.

Re: No Filter Menu icon

For a major release, it seems to me that if a feature is disabled, it should be prominently mentioned in release notes, not left for users to discover.

Are you referring to the tonemapper?

If so IMO it was pretty useless anyway - so no great loss.

If you wish to make HDR panos there are various (better) approaches that have been discussed elsehwre in the forum.

Could you give a pointer? A forum search on HDR didn't bring up anything obvious.
