Crop not working correctly?
Offline
It may depends on the case. I tried many and didn't get that behavior :

I just found something relevant, I used autocrop on this image, and all the images from this thread:

Yes I've seen small 'glitches' too with the auto crop (as well as the bigger one I described in and earlier post in the thread).

Stitch two or three fisheye images together and this is auto-rendered in Planar but the planar is too extreme.
Change to spherical - looks better BUT the crop does not work and you have a 23000 by 18000 pixel image with a tiny pano in the middle.
The crop button results in the image being all greyed out and the cursor becomes a "rotate" cursor. Click and drag and the pano rotates.
Weird - and this is the RELEASE version?
So far it is not usable and unfortunately all my beta activation codes have expired.

Richard,
I managed to do it using two images shot with a Sigma 8mm FE on a D40.
Set projection to Spherical (not Auromatic), and Preferred extend to Clamp to content, and Optimisation to Fisheye.
In the Panorma Editor sort out the orientation if the initial preview is wrong, if you have GPU mode enabled then use Move pano to do this - otherwise the Vertical lines tool along with Centre point tool should do it.
The autocrop doesn't work as expected for me - the right side is set to +180 degress and is off screen, I believe this is a known bug and will be fixed in next release, but you can manually overide this and it can then be cropped.

Another example of crop bug in APG2 with GPU (doesn't occur without GPU).
Image set used - Canon 5D with 15mm FE:

Screenshot 1 - after detect
Screenshot 2 - after centering and auto horizon
Screenshot 3- click crop - crop indicator offscreen bottom and right
Screenshot 4 - after reducing theta max by one click of the spin control - crop indicator returns bottom and right

This crop bug is subtle but here's something that may offer a clue.
If you reduce the theta max. to 179 and crop then in fact it doesn't crop and when you go to render you find you still have an equirecatnguler image.
Similarly if you reduce theta max. to 178.
But if you reduce theta max. to 177 then it does crop and you no longer get an equirectangular image.

This cropping bug was not fixed in 2.0.1.
