Viewport Display...

helloOoo

Re: Viewport Display...

Hey, I would love to follow this in English since I have trouble getting used to this new way of using the move tool, but if you feel you can get more out of this conversation if you keep it French then please do, I'll use google translate.

I was used to using the move tool to check image boundaries by using the mouse scrollwheel. As Zenalien's screenshots show, this is quite impossible since AP2 only draws the image frame, it doesn't change the content of this image frame. Is this good or bad? Well I haven't used AP2 long enough to tell, and I quickly learned to do that using the tool that was designed to do that - the image selecting tool http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/images-en/7/71/Layer_mode_off.png. I haven't used this tool almost at all in 1.4.2 because I could accomplish the same using the move tool, so this image select tool was actually pointless, but now in AP2 I see it is useful.

I will chirp in again once I reach a conclusion on whether I prefer the old behaviour or whether this new one is just as good (or better) once I get used to it.

Re: Viewport Display...

Did never notice notice this image select tool you're talking about DrSlony....  smile
I we could have a move tool that behave the same way it used to, we wouldn't need anymore the selecting tool !!

That kind of little difference are very important when you are in a big workfolw, with hundreds of panorama to review....
