I got the upgrade e-mail about 30 minutes ago. Following the steps and going to the kolor.com website

Does matter which link i click on eg.
    * My Account
    * My Wishlist
    * My Cart
    * Checkout
    * Log In

It always goes back to this page:
http://www.kolor.com/buy/

Tried 4 different browsers get the same result on all. Can't login to claim my upgrade...

Since nobody else has this problem I made a video and sent to Alex...

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

Alexandre,

Congratulations on the release! Having enjoyed APG through the beta testing phase I decided to upgrade to it from APP - though really I won't use the extra features. Why? I think you guys deserve the extra money for a superb product! I will be strongly recommending it to my colleagues.

cheers

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

Et c'est quoi cette fontion d'APG : support of template to get a production proof workflow  ?

Look. There's a rhythmic ceremonial ritual coming up !

Same for me. No interest in 'tours' but would like HDR.

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

My purchase still says "Pending". I went through the buying process yesterday with my discount code. Grand total is zero euros. But nothing happens.

Order status: Pending.

12 Hours later there is no email with an activation code yet. Anyone else has this?

Yes, that's normal. For free upgrade, we need to validate manually the order ... That's an issue with the webshop we are trying to solve.

This might happen on the mac platform : you need to clean old configuration file. See in the FAQ.

Thank you. I have the code now and tried out the new APP.

The speed seems to be much faster. Wow, I'm impressed. I will experiment some more, happy like a kid with a new toy. I have one small point with the 2.0 release which I will post in a more appropriate place.

For an enthousiastic panorama-photographer like me, APP is the best software ever. It keeps me amazed at how wonderful it is. You have done a great job.

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

It's really great, but oh boy, at least the 64bit Mac version, Qt is crashing left and right. It's best to do one thing at a time, as otherwise you're often left with unsaved changes. I certainly hope the code gets more robust.

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

Hello, as some others, I'm not interested in ATP or KRPano, but in HDR picuters with extended sensitivity by stitching differently exposed images. For such an upgrade (I have pano 1.4.2) I would pay moren than 39 Euro, but less than 118 Euro. Does Kolor offer that within the next weeks until the promotion time? Greetings Günter

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

There is no HDR in APG yet, you must wait for 4.1 or 4.2.

Moderator Edition : the real number is 2.1 or 2.2 ...

4.1? We may be waiting for a long time given that 2.0 just showed up wink

argh, typo ;] 2.1/2.2 I think 2.1 will have HDR and 2.2 smartblend2, but could be the other way around, not sure now.

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

Therefore my conclusion is: as I only need HDR, I have to wait and not order (and pay!) now. The kolor corporation only allows free upgrades within one year, as fas as I understand. Nobody Knows, if 2.1 and 2.2 will be released within this time.

Re: Autopano Pro 2 and Autopano Giga 2 release

For 1.x series, upgrades were free since at least 2006 (when I bought my license.)

I think its only when you switch to a different major version (1.x, 2.x, 3.x, etc) that you have to pay an upgrade fee.
