ATP Mac Bugs...

Hi guys,
bug report here.

There's a bug with the hotspots:
if you draw more than one hotspot inside a pano, their shapes get tangled together (in the exported .swf) creating weird shapes and not letting the links work properly.
Interestingly, I have one project created in the previous beta version and modified in the new one that has no problems.

Also, I was under the impression that APT accepted tiffs as well as jpgs as objects to project within the panos.
I tried importing 16bit tiffs and then 8bit tiffs with no luck having then to convert them into jpgs in order to be able to import them.

The disappearing menus still happen and also many times the menus are grayed out.

Thanks in advance,
E.C.

Here's an example:

Re: ATP Mac Bugs...

Hi,

Is the first bug resolved in the last apt version ? (krpano version has changed in last apt...)

I haven't notice any problem with tiffs pictures. Can you send me one of your tiff ?

Which menus are disappearing or grayed ?

Re: ATP Mac Bugs...

Hi Renan,
all this is happening in the new APT version (0.9.6.0).

I have no problems importing a tiff (8bit or 16bit) to use for the main pano image but I cannot import them to play inside the pano.
I'm trying to stay in 16bit in order to maintain the quality as high as possible.

All the menus disappear and all get grayed-out sometimes. I have to click on the desktop ant tell the system to "hide other" in order for me to access any other program.
When APT does this I'm not even able to use the keyboard to save. Eventually APT comes back and I'm able to save my work.

Here are screen shots of the tiff files not being accessible and the missing menu.

Thanks again,
E.C.

Re: ATP Mac Bugs...

Flash can natively display gif, png and jpg pictures.
We accept more format for panoramas but they are finally convert into jpg format.
For displayed pictures inside the pano we don't convert files. So you must use allowed format only.

For other wierd bugs I have to make more tests under mac...
