KRpano vs. FPP

Hans Nyberg wrote something I found very interesting in this thread on Panoguide forum:
http://www.panoguide.com/forums/galleries/6095/

He wrote:

"As you are used to Quicktime you know about the problem of displaying QTVR in different proportions.
Setting up a page with a fullscreen panorama adapting to the screen is a mess because the FOV is a vertical FOV.

Both KRPano and Pano2VR uses the same way. As far as I can see from the parameter pages at KRPano there is only this way of setting the FOV.

With FPP you have 3 ways of setting it Vertical-Horizontal and the zoom factor which is the default.
The Zoomfactor means that the FOV adapts to the proportions.
This means that you can set a FOV which looks good without distortions even if you change the display to a 1-4 proportions.

When publishing panoramas this is gold worth as you can set the height to for example 65% as I have it in the US Gallery. This gives place to menus and text and looks fine what ever resolution the user has.

And when you use the fullscreen option it adapts to the type of monitor 3/4 16/9 or whatever the user has. "
