Running in GPU mode.
In the Panorama Editor choose Move Images/Pano pan mode.
Zoom into the pano then move the pano around quickly using the mouse.
Program crashes out almost immediately.
This is consistently repeatable.
GPU is NVS290 with 256MB RAM. PC is Dell T3400, 4GB RAM, Q9300 quad-core CPU.
Image set is 8 x 6MP JPEGS shot with D40 with Nikkor 10.5mm FE.
Pano is spherical projection.

Update: I switched video cards changing from the NVS290 to a 8800GTS 320MB card.
FWIW this setup with latest Nvidia driver doesn't show this problem.

Hum. Interesting. Seems a drivers issue ( That's realy my worth fear with GPU ... )

Could you devise a test where the features Autopano is using are verified ?
If this is not possible (too much work, that is) could you recommend an existing test program?

The test in the general menu was that idea. But there's something we are still missing and we have to find out.

You didn't get this bug since the driver upgrade ?

IIRC I both changed graphics cards AND changed driver version.
If you like I could test both cards with latest Nvidia driver and see if problem persists with NVS290?
I certainly don't have this bug - although I do have other GPU related bugs - with latest NVidia driver and the MSI 8800GTS.

If you have time to check that, I would like to know if this driver issue is fixed for both hardware.

I swapped back to the NVS290 and installed the latest Quadro graphics driver from Nvidia site:
182.08_quadro_winxp2k_international_whql.exe
I no longer have the crash issue with the NVS290 when in Move images mode with GPU enabled.
I think I must originally have been using the latest NVS290 driver offered by the Dell support site when I was experiencing the crashes I reported previously.
............
So in summary both my NVS290 and my MSI 8800GTS 320MB work correctly with APG beta 1 if using the latest Nvidia drivers, for Quadro and Geforce respectively.

Great. We'll document that because it will be of some use for others.
