Open multiple images from image browser

I can chose Autopano as an 'Open with...' app in my image browser, but when I multiple select images there and then 'Open with...' Autopano, each image goes into a separate group. Can I achieve the same thing (by using a parameter on 'Open With...'?) but have them go into the same group for immediate panorama generation?

Hi!

i always use drag ´n drop. Another way is to mark sets of panoshots - i give them colors in MacOS.

It´s elegant to fill all shots into Lightroom, select conjugating images and put them into seperate folders. Usually i shoot an extra picture between groups - a black one or one of a paper with notes what group it is.

This way you have a first overlook.

But that heavily depends on how you shoot. When i shoot spheres it´s usually around 40 shots, when i shoot rectangles i know how much shots and which shots belongs to a pano. With a black picture between the series it´s easy to seperate them.

You also can give a bunch of pictures into APP and let APP seperate them into panos in the editor. That usually works very well - but if there are pictures very similar to others from a different set you might run into errors.

Therefore i take the time to organize my workflow before starting APP.

If you want something you´ve never had,
then you´ve got to do something you´ve never done.
