How to tell smartblend to use a specific image to full extend

The center shot of my panorama shows a toy train on tracks while the adjacent don't show the toy train. In the preview window the pano looks good but after rendering my toy train is cut to half by smartblend. Is there a way to tell smartblend to use the center image with the toytrain to full extend and just blend the edges with the adjacent image?

Thanks for your help,

HM

Yes, I have watched this movie prior to posting here. So you suggest this will work the same way? Delete the parts of the adjacent image that cover my toy train and render again?
Would there be another solution without the help of photoshopping? Maybe with some tweaks within APP?

HM,

Could you perhaps put your images on-line somewhere we could download them so we could take a look and be better able to advise you?

Mediavets,
I appreciate your help with this but unfortunately my client would not allow me to show his product to the public before he approves it.
It is a 360° pano out of 8 shots. The RMS is good and it stitches well but blending swallows half of the toy train in the center image.
It looks like the image to the left is overlapping too much into the image with the toy train. So I would think to cut that overlapping part off some how. Can this be done within APP?

Re: How to tell smartblend to use a specific image to full extend

Hello HM!

Andrew is right: without seeing the problem it´s very hard to say something helpful.
What kind of pano is it? Spherical? Cylindrical? Interactive?
Did you use smartblend or multiblend?
An appropriate way would be to render layers and do post-pro in Photoshop.

best, Klaus

Re: How to tell smartblend to use a specific image to full extend

Output as .psd/b layered file, and then erase with photoshop's eraser tool

If the layers don't line up becasue of Smartblend, use one of the other blenders.  Sounds like you shot in controlled conditions, so you shouldn't have a problem with misalignment, lighting, etc.
