Merlin+Focusstacking

Hi!

Here´s a first test of Merlin/Makro/Focusstacking. 2 rows of 7 shots each and 7 focus-steps in every picture.
I combined the focus-steps in PhotoAcute first and stitched the shots in APP 1.4.2
I made a mistake by forgetting an additional focus-step for the nearest points - the parts of the onion´s skin closest to the lens.
But for the very first try i find it interesting enough to show:

A big problem is the scaling between closest and remotest points - here the "morph" function in Acute is helpful. I´ll keep on testing.

best, Klaus

Re: Merlin+Focusstacking

Nice! Did you try to first stitch al stacks, and then combine the panos in PhotoAcute?

BTW, what version of zoomify are you using?

I´ll try next to stitch first.
I used the Zoomify in Photoshop CS3.
