Papywizard on PalmOS?

Hello everybody,

I'm wondering if there is a possibility to port Papywizard to PalmOS? I'm quite familar with Debian and also with MS whatever, but not with the things behind the curtains of PalmOS.
I know that there is a Python port for Palm /http://pippy.sourceforge.net/), but it's based on Python 1.52 and no more maintained since 2002...

So does anyone know if it there is a chance of porting Papywizard to PalmOS? I'm asking because a palm, e.g a Palm T|X could be a attractive control unit.

Thanks for all answers and kind regards, pgs

Re: Papywizard on PalmOS?

The python port is very old, and there is no toolkit binding.

It is very difficult to develop under PalmOS. I bough, some months ago, a C++-like compiler and GUI builder for Palm, and started to develop a Papywizard-like app., but I stopped, as it is not easy. If you want to try this app, I put it here:

http://www.gbiloba.org/download/tmp/Panohead.prc

I can provide the sources, if you want.

Re: Papywizard on PalmOS?

Thank you very much. I already installed it, but I since I don't have ther rest of the hardware, I can't test it. I will do so if I can.

Re: Papywizard on PalmOS?

Well, in fact, this version does nothing! It was done long before I have any hardware. It is just a prototype.

Do you want the sources (developed with OmniORB)?

Oh, it's just the GUI...? Well, I wish I had, but I don't have any use for the source code. Thanks anyway.
