:rolleyes:Hi,
This might be a stupid suggestion for an already overloaded developer, BUt, Is it possible to have included in the display window of Papywizard a section that informs the user of the approximate size of the resultant pano. EG from the config data could it be estimated, what the final size would be in say 600 X 300 @ 72dpi and 180 X 90 @ 240 dpi.
This would be a great function for me so that I can determine what the final size is (approx) so that I can plan the printed image proportions. The program is already exceptional for my needs but one can always hope for that bit extra.
Regards

The development releases 1.5.4-1 for Nokia (1.5.5-1 for Nokia is unstable don't try it) and 1.5.4-1/1.5.5-1 for Windows has this feature already - at the bottom below Real Overlap %. On the Nokia 770 this line is hidden unless you are running fullscreen.
For Nokia Tablets: http://www.gbiloba.org/download/papywiz … -1_all.deb
For Windows: http://www.gbiloba.org/download/papywiz … nstall.exe

just logged onto the download site for version 1.5.5-1 for Windows and its says that the bluetooth connection is broken. Is there a stable version with this feature available or should I wait for one to become available.
Thanks

Hi John,
That's not correct - I think that comment was left over from the days when BT didn't work with Windows version of Papywizard - it works fine now with the 'right' BT software and has done since current stable version 1.4.0-2 AFAIK. Try 1.5.5-1 for Windows. If you are running XP then just use the built-in Windows XP Bluetooth software drivers. I don't have any systems running Vista so can't comment on that.
Windows 2000 does not have built-in support for Bluetooth but I got it running successfully with a Bluenext USB Bluetooth adapter using the Widcomm Bluetooth software which can be found here (links at bottom of the page):

This software makes the BT connection to the Merlin head via a virtual serial port so you need to set the Papywizard hardware configuration to be a serial connection rather than Bluetooth.

Hi John,
After a new installation, I think that you must again follow the configuration procedure for the Bluetooth in Papywizard:
Configuration
Hardware
Bluetooth

Yes, BT works fine under windows since version 1.4. I corrected the download page.

Thanks fellas, I had only looked at the download site and stopped when I saw the message about the bluetooth connection being broken. I will down load the software and use it instead of 1.4. Thanks again.
