Hello Everyone,
Is this a stitching error? It looks to me like an out-of-place tile. The detection was done with APG and the rendering with APP 1.4.2, both Win XP.

Seems not a stitch error but more an upload issue with the gigapan system. Seems to come from the hierarchical cell system for the gigapan viewer. It does appears a lot in this panorama, not only once.

Ah, good idea - I'd forgotten about that part of the process.

Aeris,
The "artifacts" look like duplicated frames one or two columns out of alignment.

Yes, if this was a gigapan issue I would kind of understand it, but I can't see why APP's renderer would do something like this which is why I called it a "strange" artifact.
