Hey everyone. I've been using Autopano for years now and its been amazing. Recently I ended up taking a series of shots in a 360 radius. I created a cylindrical panorama but unfortunately when processed through a program such as Pano2VR the end and beginning photographs do not blend into one another. There is plenty of crossover within the images so I assume I just don't understand how to properly create the full 360 effect. Any help and instruction would be appreciated.

Are you shooting handheld or using a pano head?
What camera and lens are you using.
Was this a single row of images or multiple rows?
When you stitched this image set with APP was the Horizontal Field of View (HFOV) shown as 360?
Can you place the image set on-line somewhere so that we could have a look at it?

Make sure APP closed the circle. Check the links between the first and last pictures in the row, make sure the FOV is 360 x something.
Set change the center of the pano so the "seam" shows in the middle in APP. See what it looks like in APP. Try KRPano
Try LDR or HDR color correction.

Hi Michael!
Did you shoot for cylindrical or spherical? What proportionaö relations does your rectamgular image have?
Marco-PAno´s right: we need more information to help beyond guessing.

Thanks all for responding so quickly. One of the reasons I went with Autopano was its uncanny ability to get the image I was looking for correct the first time and from an unsorted folder. I am very competent on a computer, however my advanced knowledge of Autopano or photography in general is limited hence also using a point and shoot camera. The more explanation you can give the better I'll learn.....I uploaded the cylindrical jpg panorama used in the QTVR as well as an actual QTVR so you know what I'm trying to convey. If I need to upload the original photos or the .pano file just let me know. I appreciate the assistance.

I'd like to see the originals.
From your .mov it looks as if you have links missing between some images in your stitch - ie. the 'ends' are not linked.
Use the Control Points Editor to figure out why not and to fix this:

I'm still reading up on the whole control point how-to. Couldn't figure out how to work points on opposite ends. Here are the images you requested.
Thanks,
Michael

I've had a go with your 'thumbnail' images. Here are some tips.
Leave out the first image in the sequence above.
Then stitch with default settings and you should find that all the images link up, but it will create a bad link which should be removed, the re-optimize and set the auto-horizon to level, then crop.
Here's a couple of quick-n-dirty Flash panos - created with Pano2VR:
http://www.three60views.org.uk/bikepano/pano_bike.html
http://www.three60views.org.uk/panobike … 2_out.html
You have so much overlap between images that there are many links between non contiguous images that are probably redundant so that removing those may get a better result as shown in the stitched still(s).
You may also be able to omit more images and still have sufficient overlap.
I'm sure you will get a better result with the original images which will have EXIF data.
You may also wish to try switching from the default spherical projection to a cylindrical projection.
It is a fascinating scene - perfect for a pano - were you involved with one of the Olympic cycling teams?

Andrew,
Sorry about the thumbnails. Wasn't thinking about what you were looking for and hadn't resized the originals. I followed your instructions and I'm almost there. In the quick QTVR you post, there are no 'seams.' I've tried a couple different crops and either I get a seam from the colors not blending (Laoshan3) or just off on the cropping (Laoshan4). Ideas?
(QTVR's are at http://idisk.mac.com/mblatchford-Public/)
And yes I was an athlete for the US delegation in China.
