Anyone got any advice on choosing a monopod?

I want one to use with my Nikon P5100, FC-E8 FE, Bophoto pano bracket setup for 'quick-n-dirty' 360x180 outdoor panos, shooting 4-around by turning the pole.

I want something tall enough to shoot at eye level or higher - I'm about 5 foot 10 inches tall.

Currently trying to decide between a conventional photo monopod and a photo-walking pole with camera/head screw at the top. I plan to connect the Bophoto bracket directly to the top of the pole/monopod using a spigot to raise it up enough to clear the wing nut on the Bophoto bracket.
