When I'm creating a picture within panotour so people can see a picture when clicking on a hotspot/object,
I'd like the see not only the picture but also the name of the painter/date etc.
Is that possible?

The simplest way is to incorporate the text as part of the image.
Alternatively you can use the hotspot Link/HTML feature which uses the krpano Textfield plugin which is documented here:

oke thanks for the information.
I'm new to this.
How can I install the plugin, or where do I have to put the code?

The plugin is already incorporated into PTP.
You link to an HTML file using the hotspot Link/HTML option.

Hi,
I tried to link some paintings to a url.
Whith 3 different options.
Open in a current frame in the current window.
Open in the top-level frame in the current window
Open in the parent of the current frame
But I will get the same results; it opens full screen in the same window.

What am I doing wrong?
Thx Adriaan.

I think you are confusing Link/URL and Link/HTML
If you want your picture with text to be display on top of the pano image then use Link/HTML; which is what I was takling about ibn my earlier post..
But it would be far easier in my opinion to create graphic image which incorporates the pictiure and any text you want and then use Link/Object to pop that up over the pano.

HI,
Thanx! i do understand what you want to say. But I get a bit off topic at my own topic. I was a step futher and not interested in extra text anymore :-). Now I want to find out the possibility to show the painting that are aleady somewhere at the website of the museum. So I thought to display only the painting with the url of the museumsite as you can see in the tour.

OK - so you are using Link/URL to link directly to the graphic on the museum web site - as shown in my screenshot?
And what do you expect to happen when you do that?
If you use one of the HTML template options hwen building the tour, and view the tour via that HTML file (rathet than opening the SWF directly), then I think you will see that the Link/URL 'window' options work as you might expect.

Oke, I understand.
But I expect that the picture opens not in a new window but insite the tour as a blowup picture in the same window.
Is that possible?

Yes, you have to use one of the two options I described initially:
1. Link/Object - create the larger 'blowup' image (which could of course include descriptive text and so on) and then specifiy it as the Link/Object for your hotspot. If you use the same image as the hotspot Display/Object and Link/Object you can get an interesting 'flyout' effect.
2. Link/HTML - create a very simple HTML file to display the 'blow up' image and then use Link/HTML to likn to that file from your hotspot.
This uses the krpano textfield plugin which is bulit in to PTP, here are the details:
