Hi there!
I'm currently playing around with Panotour Pro and try to figure out how to embed an interacitve object.
Here's what I want:
1. The user clicks on a hotspot.
2. The hotspot opens an object which is displayed in the middle of the screen.
3. This object has mulitple pages, and the user can click through them.
1 & 2 is easy.
But I cannot figure out how to accomplish 3.
I've tried using an swf, which opens just fine, but as soon as I click on the button within the swf, the whole object disappears instead of switching to the next page of the object.
Can anybody tell me if that's possible at all?
One more thing: my initial approach was to open a html page - but I can't get it to work locally.
(haven't bought the license yet, so cannot check if it works online.)
Thanks a lot in advance for you help!

Hi.. Flash interactive buttons using AS2 or AS3 do not work in ptp. You can use Javascript though.. I am surprised you managed to check the swf locally since it will only work correctly after uploading...

Hi!
Thanks for the reply.
Can you point me to some examples how to use js in ptp?
Thanks!

Hi!
Thanks for the examples... Cool stuff ![]()
Just one thing - how do you embed the javascript code?
I know how to code things shown in your examples, but where do I insert that into the hotspot?
Is the hotspot a link to a page or the javascript directly?
Cheers

Hi!
Could you give me a hint, what's wrong with my approach:
I use wowslider to build the slideshow.
I put the folder witht the slideshow in the directory of my tour.
I point the hotspot to this url, e.g. wow/index.html.
If I click on the hotspot, I can see the html, but the js/css/images are not visible.
Seems like an error with the paths to me, but I don't understand what I do other than you...
Thanks for your help and have a great weekend!

Hi
I got the same problem as well.
I have created a room in a virtual museum. A click on a picture (hotspot), should open a infotable (swf) with 4 audiobuttons and a text.
If i click on a audiobutton into swf-file , the sound starts and the swf dissapears...
What is the sense of the possibitly to insert a swf to a hotspot, if it doesn't work as swf-file?
Is there realy no possibilty to insert a swf-file that works as a swf-file?
Thanks for any help

Hi Michael,
I finally found the solution to the problem, at least sort of...
The key is to use a lightbox which is fired from the javascript command in an hotspot.
To do so, you have to change the virtualtour.html to include the lightbox, e.g. colorbox.
You can look at what we've built at http://elearning.pacttraining.de/client … ltour.html
However, you need some understanding of php and javascript to get it done...
One more thing: I thought that kolor wanted to implement a feature for this in the latest version - you might to check for that.
If you need (professional) help, mail me at sts@bdecent.de

Light and shadowbox is the only good solution I've found so far.
At my computers the tour that you;ve shown on the link above is jerky when you turn round the panorama - I guess that is due to wmode=transparent attribute used to put the lightbox window above the flash container.
When I made this one http://talyana.ru/gallery/panorama/ I didn't use wmode=transparent attribute and the pano moves much smoother on slower computers.
Ohhh and too bad these light-shadow-boxes would not work on Ipads-phones

Hi there,
that's right - the performance unfortunately decreases once you use the colorbox.
But colorboxes do work on tablet/mobile - it's just a matter of the right size...
(we didn't optimize here, because our content is flash, so it wouldn't work anyway, and our clients don't use mobile/tablet)
