After reading this I wondered how long AA bateries would last in the standard AllView battery holder. Using the batteries pictured below and with my BT adapter plugged directly into the base (no hand controller used) it ran for 22 hours doing a 500 image panorama over and over. It took 3 days to get the 22 hours on the batteries because the 2 batteries for my Nokia N810 only lasted about 4 hours each. So I ended up ordering additional batteries for the N810 along with an extra battery charger. The Duracell NiMH batteries will last me for 3 or 4 days of normal shooting without a problem!

Good night
The only difference between the battery LiPo and AA batteries is the voltage of the load end.
Lipo battery has 12 v at the end and AA 10 v.
It is possible that the low battery indication (blinking light synscan) appears too soon.

Mine (and yours too) holds 10 batteries @1.2 volts each = 12 volts.

Good morning.
My LiPo battery is 14.4 volts and is formed by four elements in series each one 3.6 volt (3.6 * 4 = 14.4).
When exhausted, was 12 V (4 * 3 = 12)
The mount is designed to carry Allview 10 batteries of 1.5 volts each, ie 15 volts.
Ni-Mh like yours, provide less voltage.
Loaded 10 * 1.2 = 12
Sold 10 * 1 = 10
Greetings
