theory of operation

When I take astronomy pictures, I take many exposures of the exact same object. All the photos are then averaged and the noise becomes very low and low constrast features are revealed.

When I shoot panos and combine them with Autopano Giga, if the same object is seen in 9 frames do all 9 frames contribute to that object?
Does accuracy of a depiction of a single object go up as a single point is covered in more frames?

thanks for your insights
Mike

The most important part is to use linear blending in RT.
