error - can't find spot9, unknown action: closepanoobjects

Hi, I'm getting the following error.

INFO: Panotour Pro Version 1.8.0
INFO: krpano PT 1.7 (build 2012-02-20)
INFO: Flashplayer WIN 11.5.31.139 PlugIn
INFO: registered to: 360cities@gmail.com
ERROR: looktohotspot() - hotspot "mapspot9" not found
WARNING: unknown action: closepanoobjects

I have built the tour like always. But this time there is a map (a jpeg, inlaid in the corner). I don't know why this would make an  error.

Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

thank you.

Two possibilities:

1. Do you have any hotspots on the map? As I recall you can get some error message a bit like this if you have a map with no hotspots.

2. If you have hotspots, do any of the hotspots use one the zoom transtions? If so chnage to a different type of transition.

I have a map with hotspots. there is one hotspot going to each pano.

there are no hotspots on any of the panos.

there is no transition.

Some of the error messages refer to missing images.

It appears some of the tour files have not been uploaded or their file permissions are set incorrectly.

In the first instance,  suggest you rebuild the tour to a new folder and reupload.

..............

I note that when first clicking on a map hotspot there are no error messages, these seem to appear when clicking on a second and subsequent hotspots on the map.

..............

I vaguely recall some issue about having the map set to the right, this may no longer be the case but it may be worth trying to relocate the map to the left.

Re: error - can't find spot9, unknown action: closepanoobjects

Hello Jeffrey ,

The "looktohotspot" error was due to a transition set on a spot of the map like Andrew told you.
You may have change some of them after, because I looked at the exported XML files on your website, and saw no error.

I think also that you changed the access rights of your files because I did not see the errors that Andrew saw.
The bug of the map set on the right is fixed since a long time now, so you can let it there.

Btw Jeffrey, nice to meet you there!
