I'm trying to stitch pictures using lenses of different focal length.
1)Use the Nikon10.5mm lens, 8 cut shot, I covered the entire sphere.
2)Use the Nikon50mm lens,36 cut shot,I've taken a 360-degree horizontal.
Please tell me how to do these stitches.
※I'm sorry my bad English. Do you understand?

What are you trying to achieve by doing this?

Thank you for your reply.
I consider that only a horizontal level would like to create the panorama of high resolution.
A photographic subject to observe by high resolution.
It exists into a horizontal level part mostly.
The zenith and the bottom is not necessary to be high resolution.
I would like to photo a 360-degree panorama speedily.
I would like to fully record a horizontal level portion by high resolution moreover.
Is it a difficult thing?

APP/APG cannot stitch a mix of fisheye and rectilinear images.
What camera body are you using? Most Nikon DSLR bodies used with the 10.5mm fisheye produce quite sufficient resolution for online display of spherical panos.
If you want more resolution (and it will be a lot more) then move up to 35mm or 50mm prime lenses. But then you'll really want to use a robotic pano head to handle the number of images required and will need considerable computer power to stitch and render the panos in a reasonable time.

But different focal lenght can be stitched when both focal lengths are the same type of rectilinear or fisheye.
I use this technique often to add wide angle nadir shots to a pano that is made by telephoto lens.
You must pay attention that BEFORE optimizing every picture is marked with its correct focal length in the picture list. If not, your pano will look like, ehm, yes, like psychedelic pop art ![]()

forgot to say ... and you have to pay attention that ALL pictures are of the same orientation, either landscape or portrait. Mixing porttrait and landscape ... pop art.
Use your cameras picture viewer to check all pictures, and if there is one picture the camera decided to mark in a different orientation, use your cameras menus to rotate the picture to the desired orientation BEFORE downloading to your pc. Maybe other readers in this forum had better success, but i myself had the experience that trying to rotate pictures later on the pc ... fail, pop art. AND i neverhad succes to optimize portrait mode panos, so i shoot make my panos in landscape mode only. Funny. This will give a separate post here after Karneval.

And now let´s see if google translate is better than my english
, or if it is completely incomprehensible:

Thanks for the advice.
If a different focal lengths, even if the rectilinear lens, I can stitch well.
I'll try to find out how to do this.
My bad English, I'm sorry.

Hi Kumon,
the workflow is very simple ...
search the nadir shot in the picture list ( 1 ). If it is NOT marked in the differing focal length, click on the info icon ( 2 ). You get the settings window for the picture list. Search for the nadir shot, click on the picture ( 3 ) so that it is the only marked. Otherwise ALL pictures will be changed and ... psychedelic pop art. Then enter the correct focal length ( 4 ). Ready, done that.
