You have 'weird' characters in the folder name that won't resolve correctly in my Firefox browser so I can't view the example.

Best to avoid spaces in file and folder names (you still hav spaces) - instead uses hyphens.

Anyway that URL take me to a folder/directory list which of the files should I view?

My guess is that the problem lies within your HTML code:

Code:

<html>

<body>
<FONT FACE="verdana" size="11.5" color="#90909B">
<p><b>Fugato</b></p>
<br> </br>
<p></p>

<img src="fugato.jpeg" width="120" height="120"> </img>
<br> </br>
<p>Fugato Compact – maximized performance for retail applications (Top ceiling) Fugato Compact, accent lighting Fugato Compact Accent is part of the Fugato downlight range, which stands for optimal lighting performance, great functionality and consistency in design.</p>

</FONT>

<a href="http://www.mea.ecat.lighting.philips.com/l/indoor-luminaires/downlights/fugato-compact-accent-lighting/910503501915_eu/" target="_blank"><FONT COLOR="#0000FF">visit website</FONT></a>

<img src="logo.jpg" ></img>

</body>

</html>

Perhaps the FONT stuff?

The Link/HTML feature uses the krpano Texfield plugin the documenation for which is here - it supports only a limited subset of HTML/CSS:

I don't have an iPad but I see the same issue when using Safari with user-agent set for iPad on Winmdows XP/32.

Were you viewing with real iPad hardware?

"HotSpots" are not related to html. They work "inside" the panorama .swf or .js

So i don´t understand at all what you mean saying: "html hotspot out of frame on iPhone/ipad"

Re: html hotspot out of frame on iPhone/ipad

hi klaus
i am using pnotourpro and i am using a hotspot in one of the panoramas this hotspot is linked to one of 5 options (panorama,url,html,object or java script ) i chose html with the following code :

<html>
<body>
<FONT FACE="verdana" size="11.5" color="#90909B">
<p><b>Fugato</b></p>
<br> </br>
<p></p>
<img src="fugato.jpeg" width="120" height="120"> </img>
<br> </br>
<p>Fugato Compact – maximized performance for retail applications (Top ceiling) Fugato Compact, accent lighting Fugato Compact Accent is part of the Fugato downlight range, which stands for optimal lighting performance, great functionality and consistency in design.</p>
</FONT>
<a href="http://www.mea.ecat.lighting.philips.com/l/indoor-luminaires/downlights/fugato-compact-accent-lighting/910503501915_eu/" target="_blank"><FONT COLOR="#0000FF">visit website</FONT></a>
<img src="logo.jpg" ></img>
</body>
</html>

the tour it self is working fine on my mac so does the hotspot . but when when i try the tour on my ipad /iphone once i click on the hotspot the text included in the html goes completely out of frame.

you can try the link below and test the hot spot once using user agent as default and another time as iPad and you will understand better what i mean.

http://www.deja-view.org/static/panoram … index.html

thanks

Re: html hotspot out of frame on iPhone/ipad

Are you familiar with any graphics software like Adobe Illustrator?  If so, layout your hotspot launched information box in your graphics program.  When you're finished, save it as a jpeg.  In PTP  under hotspot properties link it your jpeg using the object option.  This is my workflow and I haven't encountered any issues so far, well with the exception of Android devices.  Click on any of the hotspots in this pano to see what I mean.  http://revolutionimages.net/storybook/index.html  I recommend clicking the pano titled Horse Barn for the clearest example.  I hope this solution works for you.

Re: html hotspot out of frame on iPhone/ipad

hey treygaf!!
thanks for the advise ,i thought already of this solution the only problem is inside the pic (or the hotspot ) there is a link that need to send the used to a web page and this is not possible with only jpeg , there has to  be more progarmming involved ,i just find it strange that the html hotspot is only working on mac/ win but not on ipads and androids.... thought there was a simpler way to do it .

Hi!

You can´t show text on hotspots on iDevices. (If that is what you mean).

Trying to pin it down: with "frame" do you mean the panorama? Or what do you mean saying "frame"? Do you mean the frame which opens inside the panorama?
Do you mean the text "Fugato" being outside the frame which opened inside the pano . . cool ?

In my understanding NOTHING which happens "inside" a panorama is html. Apanorama is .swf - and this .swf runs in a html frame on a html site.

I simply don´t understand what you mean precisely!

best, Klaus

I get this:

Klaus I believe you are mistaken.

When you chose to link a hotspot to HTML then the krpano player use the Textfield plugin to read and display the linked (external) HTML file within the pano/tour.

In the case of the Flash version of the krpano Panorama Viewer the Textfield plugin is a separate Textfield SWF plugin.

In the case of the HTML/javascript (HTML5) version of the krpano Panorama Viewer the Textfield plugin is integrated within the Viewer:

We are not talking about tooltips/text labels which appear when you hover the mouse over a hotspot (they certainly won't work on touchscreen iDevice, and other, platforms), we are talking abourt the hotspot Link/HTML feature of PTP which uses the Textfield plugin and which is supposedly supported in both the Flash and the HTML/javascript versions of the krpano Panorama Viewers.
