ah... found: http://hipa.ae/en/panoramic-password
and additional +++ for multiple times climbing from 160th floor (last elevator floor) to the pano point (over 200m additional meter of heigth)

Hi Georg - the last 130 meters is vertically up a ladder!
Pano was shot from a regular tripod for the initial 48 image sphere, then I had too take a whole load of manual shots to shoot around objects that were partially blocking the view, and some shots vertically down the outside of the spire.
Multiple viewpoints basically, but all within about 2m of each other.

From someone who suffers from vertigo even 6ft up a ladder, the though of climbing a further 130m from an already insane height ... well, I'm having palpatations and cold sweats just thinking about it!
Kudos to you gddxb, an awesome pano to take from a unique view point

How did you avoid the air pollution/visibility issues you have reported with previous shoots?
What camera/lens and robotic head did you use this time?

This is odd. Second time that I've seen no response to this post, but am convinced I've replied! Anyway...
It was a relatively clear day. We get maybe 20-30 days as clear as that a year.
VR Drive 2, ALPA FPS, Rodenstock/ALPA 50mm HR, Phase One IQ180 back.
