oh.. Now I think I need Kolor tech'o help.. I am out of ideas... I do not know what feature is missing that allows Chrome, Safari and Opera to view it but not IE or Firefox.. It has to be something in ptp since it will work as an independent graphic..
I might try to make a krpano VR... That software has some unique properties in the way its built.. If it does work, then there is still hope with ptp V2 ![]()

Hi Destiny,
You should try to add wmode="opaque" in your embed tag if you want HTML5 elements to be viewed on top of the SWF.
Working for me on Firefox, with this ![]()

Hi.. Yes the wmode="opaque" is there.. The krpano one was just a demo test but the main link has it.. You mean to say that the krpano dummy test works....
Thanks for your input....

Not sure at all why it will not work in ptp, I added the wmode="opaque" code and updated the krpano player.. but I update the player using the krpano update software but I will not replace the player totally since the new krpano player supports the wmode="opaque".. the ptp generated player does not..
Good call Rafarel, I thought it was already there when I made up the demo... I did not think to check...
So, its looking good now for my Contact to work in ptp V2... I hope... ![]()

Hi.... Heaps of feedback coming in from all over over the world... A big thank you to Rafarel for reminding me about the wmode="opaque" option... I knew exactly what it was since I had to use it for other things to get them to work.. I just assumed it was present in the krpano demo I made up..

The wmode is not related to krPano or PTP, it's a feature of Flash Player.
The thing is that PTP 1.8 does not add the wmode attribute when generating HTML, because there are no HTML5 plugins in PTP 1.8
If you need to display HTML5 on top of any kind of Flash content, just set your wmode to opaque, it will do the trick ![]()

emm.. there you go.. I thought it was directly linked to krpano 1.0.8.15 using the updated swfkrpano.js file..
Since it is a flash thing, is there a way to get it to work with 1.8 by adding the wmode="opaque" string, which I have done.. I added it before when I had an issue with bringing the graphic to the front.. Klaus-krpano suggested that fix.. Or is it a matter of having html5 elements within my tour for it to work in this case...

Well, here is a thing... I just tested this eContact form on our laptop using IE with Windows.. I just got it out of school. I downloaded all of the latest Flash players and updated java but when I open the krpano version, I get a black pano area.. but the Contact works fine.. With the ptp version I get a white background and again the Contact works... No one else has reported this issue.. If I open up a normal pano it works fine.. So, something on my laptop doesn't support the transparent I am guessing.... Very strange.
Any suggestions welcome....

Are we talking about the example at this URL?:

Perhaps you have changed the code since I last tested?
Anyway it's working OK still for me with Firefox on Win XP/32 (first screenshot); but not with IE (second screenshot) but IE is reporting a coding error.

Very strange.. I downloaded Chrome and that works fine.. I download Firefox and that works fine too.. But IE shows an error, something to do with downloading the latest flash player.. But I have it.. I wonder if IE has changed with some recent up date or other..
Well, thank you for testing that Andrew.. At least I know its not my laptop.. I don't often use it since I hate windows.. I just use it for school stuff..
I have no idea what it could be.. I think its something to do with ptp since i have tested it as a stand a lone and it works.. My goodness, IE is a pain..
I changed nothing since you last tested it..

What version of IE do you have?
Online
V9... I think its up to date.. but you have the same issue too where as before you did not...
It cannot be ptp since it's happening with the krpano version too..

Yay.. Fixed it... Silly me. On Safety, I had the ActiveX Filter ticked.. Not sure why that was...
Its all good again.. I hope you can see it ok...

Is this a screen shot of IE6 ?
In 2013, I think you can forget IE6 compatibility issues, since there are just a few internet users still using it (5%), especially in China...

Focus more on IE8 and later.

Seems to be working again now - so don't worry about it....this is V8.x of IE on Windows XP/32.

I would guess you would be right there Rafarel.. Thats a really old version.. I have V9 which I think is the latest.. I certainly have the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome since I have just downloaded them, but they work fine anyway....
