Hi.. Well, yes all data needs to be embedded. There are issues with putting a tour into a pdf but it is doable.. A pdf will accept most code, but you need to keep them in their groups and add in groups or you will lose the links.. One you have done it then its viewable via the normal pdf reader... My advice it, keep the tours in a small window, and optimise at 8. If you keep the tours in small viewing windows then you will not notice any difference in quality.. I have done this many times, it easy and can work but its not the best option to view a virual tour..

Yes, I will send you an email and see if we can get it working for you... As I said before, it can be done as you can see, but it has issues so keep your tours small in image size... Its mostly due to the fact that a virtual tour to a pdf, you are essentially embedding all tour data into the pdf.. This slows things down..
I will send you step by step as I get time..

Hi Trey..
You have now cteated your optimised embeded tour using ptp... You are now ready for the next step...
This is for making the pdf up from scratch..
1... Open up InDesign file for the Web and resize as needed... or any other app that you have where you can do saves a PDF...
2... When you make up this file, drawing a blank area where the VR’s will be located.. So use your rec tool to draw a rectangle any colour..
3... Save as a PDF Interactive
From this moment on you can use the PDF that you have, as long as you have an area to locate your VR over. However, if the PDF is protected you will need to remake it from scratch..
Using Acrobat Pro
4... Open up the Content tab, goto swf and click on insert your swf.
5... Resize using the blue line nodes..
6... Open Resources and add your remaining folder. (BTW, you cannot use HTML5)
7... Click off anywhere outside the rectangle area and it will then you can view your Pano in a PDF ![]()
I will tidy this up if I have missed out something...
