Best camera to use with Gigapan Epic Pro

For panoramic and time lapse photos day and night. Who has best time lapse software too.

I think a somewhat light APS-C camera such as the canon 7D is a good choice for the gigapan. My epic isn't strong enough to have my Canon 1D on there. plus the 1.6x multiplier gives you less angle of view and more shots (which as long as you are shooting at low iso to get good quality pixels will end up giving you more pixels in your final pano for a given focal length)
