if you need it, you can get the complete project folder. It is 2.1 GB in size.

here it is...
http://www.wackel3d.de/gigapanos/kolor/ … -4904.pano
with 5 mb i cannot insert it into the text field, so i loaded it to my wbserver.
after hand editing, i started apg new and it seems to be ok. but with catastrophic result. now in this second ptgui is trying...

Hello Christian,
First of all, we released yesterday a 3.0.3 version because a regression was introduced, making the 3.0.2 version working not so well.
I would not be surprised that the issue you are facing is caused by this bug. So, you might give it a try.
If not, I would be very intersted by downloading the wull project.
Regards,
Thomas

Well, first impression with 3.0.3 looks good. The two missing pictures are where i expected them to be, the picture list doesn´t look any more funny ;-)
There are some more problems, but having a closer look at them i would say they come from the scene i have made the fotos from. Dark forest with much snow, near black and white, nearly no colors, very low contrast. The picture shows the pano as far as 303 has done it. Some pictures are masked out, because they are spread all over the scene, in a size as if they were 50 mm and not 200.
My offer is stll open you can have the complete project folder (more than 2 GB!).

Did you try to import having optimization un-checked? (Didn´t read whether you have)
Placing by xml is independent from colors or contrast in the scene - but when optimization works automatically it messes things up when it can´t set CPs.
So skip optimization and optimize image by image individually.

i didn´t skip optimizing in the import. I gave it a try...
after importing the grid was perfect, all tiles in same size, but all longer lines looked zig-zag. Connections were marked aquamarin.
local optimize - nothing happend.
local optimize with first, second neighbour - nothing happend. Connections stayed aquamarin.
global optimize - same catastrophic like optimizing in import.
fast optimize - looks different from global, but catastrophic too.
tomorrow i will do some further experimenting with disabling lens distortion and / or object distortion, control point clearing, etc... ![]()

@kolor ... when you have a situation like the two pictures below, wouldn´t it be a great idea to draw something like the red poligon and tell apg "excluded poligoned area from optimizing" ?

Disabling lens-distortion wouldn´t help afaik.
I would try skip otimization in the importer. Read carefully what Alexandre wrote here: http://www.autopano.net/wiki-en/action/ … zard_Cases
Read about "skip optimization" and "hide links below this value" and so on.

Oh please, not another how-to. Ok, i will give it a try...
after removing the faulty links in the sky, doing some heavy hard linking in the upper left corner, and some hard linking right and in the middle of the sky ... i can´t believe it ...
First screenshot is after hard linking and before optimizing, second and third are after global optimizing.
Hey, that is very near to perfect. That has been an extra work of 20 minutes at the right place. Next pano will need less time.
Only at the right corner a broken edge is left, which will need some additional finetuning.
Klaus, i promised to spend a coffee whenever it will happen that we meet at Düsseldorf or Wuppertal. Now it will be two coffees ![]()

Good to see that you achieve (almost) the desired result.
Congratulations.
