Simple Text hotspot

Hi,
i've searched the forum but couldn't find an answer to this.
Is there a simple way to add an information hotspot that on click shows some simple text?

This is probably simple by editing the hotspot in the .xml file but codding is simply not my strengh...

Use the Link/HTML feature.

Or create a graphic that contains your text and use Link/Object; if you use a format that supports transparency - like PNG - then PTP will honour that.

Re: Simple Text hotspot

The graphic display of the text it's the method i've been using right now, but it would be nice to have somthing like a box with the possibility of scrolling text. I've tried the html before, and it does display the text, but since i dont really know much about code, it would only display the text in a white background box.
Is there something like a template of an html text box? Or a tutorial?

Re: Simple Text hotspot

Forgive me if I have misunderstood, but are you looking for something like this:  http://revolutionimages.net/thewaters/  Click on the logo hotspots and a text box, I sell them as info boxes, will appear.

Did you search the KRPano forum? http://krpano.com/

best, Klaus

(P.S.: Panotour/Pro bases on KRPano. It´s a GUI (GraphicUserInterface) for KRPano-Tools - but doesn´t contain all the functionality of the tools (that´s most likely impossible for a GUI).

If you want something you´ve never had,
then you´ve got to do something you´ve never done.

The Link/HTML feature of Panotour Pro (PTP) utilises the krpano Textfield plugin - the documentation for that is here:

http://krpano.com/plugins/textfield/

PTP currently incorporates krpano 1.0.8.14 rather than the latest 1.0.8.15
